The California-based promotion's most recent offering on Showtime, "Strikeforce: Feijao vs Henderson," averaged 412,000 viewers.

That's a 44 percent decline in average viewership compared to the record-shattering numbers of "Strikeforce and M-1 Global: Fedor vs. Silva," which hosted the first quarterfinal matchups of the Strikeforce heavyweight grand prix.

thats kinfd of surprising, would think Hendo could draw a bigger viewership than that, thats close to Noons-Diaz2 numbers

that being said, compare this vs UFC on Versus

Versus is available to alot more people and only did what 600,000? so for being on Showtime that isnt too bad a number

Yeah it didn't do too bad. No surprise it didn't do as well as the opening fights of the HW tourny.

The good thing for Strikeforce is that 412K is starting to become disappointing since they've been able to raise the bar on showtime. It's still a strong rating for premium cable.

Hendo is surprisingly not a huge draw, odd because he such an exciting likable fighter, still solid numbers though.

More than I thought. Those are good numbers for Strikeforce. This card was almost not advertised at all also, compared to the last event. Hendo was the only draw on a mild card. I guessed it would do a healthy 365,000 views. 412,000 exceeded that nicely. 400k might be the new barometer. Diaz card is next, it should top 400k.

That April 9th card is more stacked top to bottom. I expect it to do pretty well. Do they get Showtime in Japan? Some good Japanese fighters on that card.
