Mayhem Miller gets schooled by Rousimar Palhares in training(video)

Wow alittle surprised that he schooled Mayhem like that lol.

Palhares is a bad dude on the ground. I think Mayhem takes him in a fight though.

I wasnt shocked he did it I was just surprised he made Mayhem tap in less than a minute.

Paul Harris schools Mayhem on the mat..no suprise there. A fight would be interesting.

Paul Harris is the real deal. It's a shame he screwed himself vs. Marquardt. I thought that was a fight he could have won a decision or eventually got the heel hook or kneebar.

I like Palhares better both on the feet and on the ground...I've been saying for a while, he's one of the most underrated fighters in the game today...barely anyone outside of hardcore fans have ever even heard of him...but they will soon.

sidenote: the guy Miller was working with in that fight exchange, Pat Cummins, was recently sentenced to jail time for a crime(theft of some sort I believe) he committed while attending Penn State.

Yeah, he definitely could've won that fight. I'm interested to see who he gets next. I think a fight with Maia is going to happen

Yeah Im not so sure about that lol.

Palhares has a great chin, took some shots from Hendo and wasn't even dazed. But better standup then Miller? Don't think so.

Since when does Mayhem have a good stand-up game. I suppose it's okay, but I wouldn't act as if he would outclass anyone. Rousimar looks like he could pack some serious power in a punch. In his fight with Marquardt, it definitely seemed like he was loading it up, and Marquardt wasvery cautious of it. I doubt Marquardt would be with Miller.

Palhares could give just about any MW trouble.

Mayhem brings a whole lot more than what we saw in that video. I like Palhares, but I still say Mayhem would beat him. We didn't see Mayhem's Wrestling, Muay Thai, and striking in that video.

Mayhem's striking is much better, but he doesn't have the best takedown D, not saying Palhares beats him, but it'd a be a close fight.


There are reports Mayhem will return to the UFC after his last SF fight BTW.

Where did you see that at? Might be why he hasn't been announced for any fights since being pulled from the Kennedy fight.
