| Congrats to the Rangers. They are a solid team and are very legit. As for my Tigers we will try again next year. | |

| I had a feeling the Rangers would lose game 1, but I thought it would be more because of Carp. He did pitch well but he wasn't the reason the Rangers lost. They couldn't drive in a run late. Last night was another though game. I felt OK heading into the 9th just because of who was up and it was just a 1 run game. But still the Rangers came up big in the 9th. | |

It was just smart baseball in the 9th. Smart base running. Kinsler got a monster jump and stole 2nd. Elvis made a heads up move and got to 2nd when Albert fucked up a cut off. That got runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs. The next two Ranger batters did there jobs with long fly balls, 2 runs score.

| Let the record show that if the Rangers win it pretty much means a healthy Giants team is still the class of the MLB. | |

| It is a bummer knowing that the Giants would have cruised to a second world series appearance and likely title if Posey, Sanchez, and Wilson didnt go out. The NL was definintely a crap shoot this year without the best pitching staff involved.
Philly's pitching is not better. On paper it looks better, but thats only if you don't know that Roy Oswalt is terrible now.
