| We should be kicking the rangers asses if we would play better defense and chill out with all the errors. | |

| Sandoval removed from the game in the first inning.
So it seems..if you're on the Giants and you can actually hit the ball consistantly..you will have injury problems. Beltran seems content milking a wrist injury for the rest of his rental as well. Hope Sandovals foot inst serious..the way he was walking didnt look good.
Yet Aubrey Huff has been healthy as a horse all season.

By far. Yeah I said it. Not just for this season either. He is the best pitcher in baseball. Saying "I may have exaggerated" is the only way you could have responded to my post without looking like a fool. and what do you mean "not just this year". Look at his career numbers. They're simply good. He's had 2 great years. This year and 2009. You mean to tell me Verlander was the best pitcher in baseball, the AL, or even his own division the past 5 years? I know you do mean to tell me that....but you're a crazy homer. Atleast Lincecum has stats, hardware, and jewelery to back up that he has been one of the two or three best pitchers in baseball since the day he stepped on a major league mound. This is the first Cy Young caliber season for Verlander...Lincecum in his 3rd cy young caliber season. Last year was consider an off year for Lincecum and it's still on par with pretty much every season of Verlander's prime. Even in an "off year"(still easy all star selection) for Lincecum, he won the postseason MVP and went 4-1 against Derek Lowe, Roy Halladay(x2), and Cliff Lee(x2) facing much more potent offenses than these guys that get all the hype. tim, i bet you think W-L record is the biggest stat for a pitcher when it's the stat most out of the pitchers control. Ahh what am i doing...you're a LeBron and Michael Vick fan.

| Come on Kings Lincey pitches in the national league for 1 and for as good as he is he isnt no JV. Both will have great careers and looks like me and u just have a difference in opinion. | |

| Yeah, Lincecum being a national league pitcher sure showed when the #1 offense from the AL couldnt touch him in the world series last year. Not to mention his gawdy stats in interleague play. Yeah Tim Lincecum is just a product of the NL. How did Verlander do in the World Series against the weak NL product St. Louis Cardinals offense.
*drumroll*
11 IP 10 RUNS!!! 2 losses. The big bad American League ace(who was the best in the game even at this point according to you) couldnt hack it against an average NL offense(your logic) while Lincecum shut down the team that lit up every pitcher they faced in the playoffs(except the Giants pitching, who pitch in the NL) whilst facing one of the most prolific postseason pitchers in the last several decades in both games. This is just using your logic. Lincecum has proven himself time and time again against great offenses both from the NL and AL.
It's not a difference of opinion. We got me, who bases my observations on stats and years of performance from both pitchers and you who bases your opinion on the fact that you're a silly homer
I said Verlander is likely having the best season of all pitchers, though there are other pitchers i'd rather pitch a game 7 for me..and that would not even have to include Tim Lincecum...but you decided to put your foot in your mouth and say "not just this season"...based on what? You're probably the only guy who would claim that Verlander has been the best of any season other than this season and even then...he is by no means "by far" the best. There is arguements that can be made for a few pitchers this season.
Sorry Tim, but you can't hide behind the difference of opinion. You're talking out your ass. You can't say "it's my opinion that the sky is green and grass is blue" and leave it at that. It siezes to be "just my opinion" and becomes asinine and you get called on it.
I'm not even really trying to say Lincecum is a better pitcher at this moment. Verlander has had an amazing year. I'm saying he's been a better pitcher for the last few years he's been in the league and any sports writer, fan, observer who has any clue what they are talking about(Not you) know this. This would not even be a discussion if you didnt insert foot in mouth with the "not just this season" and "by far" comments.
