Sounds very familiar. I really need to just stick the game in and see where I'm at. Hopefully it jogs the memory. Is there a part on there where you have to blow a bridge or run through something on a bridge in a vehicle? Really like I said I need to just put the game in and see where I'm at.

you're talking about ramming that big ass truck through the debris in the tunnel to get to moresby city. Moresby is Act 2.

Yes, now that sounds right. Not sure how far I made it past that point.

I think I talked Weezy into getting a used copy of the 1st game and finishing that out on co-op. It's like 17 bucks right now, not too bad.

I put the game in and I guess I left off right at the start of chapter 8 and I was level 25, or just a hair below 25 because I leveled up within 5 minutes. Weezy is way back in chapter 2 or something because he messed up and turned off his game before a save point. I can only remember very small parts of the story line.
But I'm real close to act 3.

Also I guess the fixed the glitch were you could duplicate items by throwing an dropping at the same time. Bummer. I also wish I had mores space for more weapons.

It says I'm something like 82% done with the main story now. I think I'm on chapter 15? I didn't even know there was an act 4 but I'm almost there.
This game is pretty fun co-op though just to kill some time with a buddy. Haven't even got my tax money back but I got a good chunk of change from my buddies taxes since he owed me money. So I got some extra dough to play with so I will be buying the sequel eventually.

Getting money in this game is fucking hard. I have to be missing something.

Not really. In the first one it was very difficult to gain any serious money unless you put everything in Jin's backpack and sell it wholesale. My best tip is to go on missions you know you're going to encounter living enemies(non infected ones) with just one hand to hand weapon and a gun, collect all the firearms you can hold and then dump them all in jin's pack when you meet back up with her, then sell all the firearms at a shop.

Yeah at first I was just throwing away the guns when they ran out of ammo and picked up new ones. Then I started keeping them and selling him. The place where you can buy and sell from people always charge insane prices. Between that, upgrades and repairs it cost a shit load of money. I can get 10-20K on a mission by picking pockets and searching bags but that money is gone quick. Everything is so expensive later in the game. I'm glad I got the tackle and stomp. Help save my weapons a bit.
It was much easier with the weapon glitch lol. Could duplicate anything and sell it off.

Have you upgraded to the quick stomp yet? Especially useful for dealing with a crowd other than floaters and thugs and butchers. Draw one or two away at a time and crush those heads without damaging weapons.

I don't know if there is another upgrade for my stomp or not but I have it unlocked to where I can stomp the head now and get the kill. Before he would just kick them forever. That's what I was talking about. I run at someone and knock them down and then stomp the head to save the weapons when I can.

I don't know if it makes a difference by I play with Sam, the big dude that is a blunt object specialist.

There's another upgrade for Stomp on the combat tree at the very bottom where instead of taking 4-5 seconds for the stomp animation he'll just jump and land with both feet on the head rapidfire like. It's much easier and effective when dealing with a crowd. I think it's the last upgrade on the combat tree.

I don't really get how the tree works. I don't know how many things below it I have to unlock first before it lets me go to the last one. But good to know. I'll keep working that tree until I get it.

nah we gave Borderlands a shot... haven't played it since that day lol

My xbox froze the other day when I was attempting to join Weezy's game to play co-op. When I turned it back on my game was "corrupted" and I'm not able to continue. Had to start a new game. The only plus is I get to start from the chapter I left off on(15) and I got to re-distribute my skill points for my player. So I had 30 skill points to play around with. But still I lost all my weapons and all my supplies. Almost just quit but I have been mainly playing co-op with Weezy anyways.
