| Machida shouldn't have to fight Anderson and everyone should understand that. It's not like Anderson doesn't have his own weight class to fight in. It's not Machida's fault that Anderson is schooling everyone he faces. I agree 100% with Machida and Anderson never fighting. | |

His first fight compared to now isn't even comparable in terms of his ability to deceive, mask, read and anticipate.
Anderson is really becoming a favorite fighter of mine.
I am so sick of hearing how Machida and Spider are friends. If they are the best in the division then they should fight. They both talk about wanting to be great but neither will make the effort to fight the best which is each other. I know they dont have to fight if they dont want to but I am sick of hearing about it. I find it a very interesting story line, and in the big picture a pretty recent one. 2 friends coming in and housing the rest of MMA, why does that get tiresome?

| I wanna see the best fighters in the world fight as long as they are similar sizes. Machida and Anderson fit that bill. Either of those 2 and Fedor fit that bill 2. Those 3 fighting each other is the 3 fights I want the most. | |

I dont mind them not fighting as much as I mind hearing about them not fighting. Its old and every time 1 of them is interviewed its the same shit we wont fight each other. Fine just dont talk about it.

| I don't think a move to heavyweight is a wise one for Anderson. He may not look "soft" at 205 but there is no way he can maintain fighting shape at his walking around weight of 225 when he normally fights 20-40 lbs lighter. You don't instantly keep all your cardio/speed with 40 extra pounds on you. Thats not to say his hands won't still be faster than Mir's, but the possibility he will gas himself out against Mir is probable if the fight goes more than a round. | |

2003 Mir is not 2009 Mir For sure, Mir is much better now than he was then. I think he would give Spider a good fight.

| Mir doesn't have natural cardio. Mir can make excuses all he wants. He just doesn't have it. | |

| Bigs, I hate to agree with Wolfy, but he is right. Granted you can develop cardio, but some people have a natural cardio. the big name that comes to mind for me is Lance Armstrong. His body naturally absorbs oxygen at a higher rate than the average man, that is natural cardio. | |

That is genetics, not cardio. If you don't work your ass off like Lance Armstrong does, you won't win the Tour de France or anything else. Cardio comes with hardwork. Maybe genetically your body can develop cardio more quickly and more efficiently than other people, but it doesn't develop it naturally.

| You may have a point and I would usually hasten to agree with you, but since you like Texas and my mother is a Texas grad and she and I are fighting, I have decided to be a jerk and disagree. | |

I think you agree with this Bigs... even though you don't. Of course hard work can help, and it's pretty obvious that no one is going to win the Tour de France 6 (or was it 7) times in a row without training. That doesn't really prove that some people don't have naturally better cardio than others. /silly argument
