It's a reasonable offer OU, but JHam and Braun is a wash, kind of like Ham a little more maybe, and wouldn't give up a top 5 closer like Feliz for Liriano, but like that you're trying.

Really just looking for a small deal, and interested in Castro and Sanchez, think you got Rollins so Castro should be expendable.


I'll give you Vlad who you could use in your UT spot and you could use a big bat like that, Perez whose close to a top 10 closer and with guys like Broxton blowing you could use for Castro and Sanchez.

Yeah I thought it was a fair offer, looking at where they were drafted on average it seems pretty fair to me. Wouldn't part with any pitcher better than Fransico.

Dude Posada is old, Brandon Lyon isnt good, and Im not that interested in Furcal. I would like to have Ubaldo but I not trading a ton of offense to get him when I know he wont have the same kind of year this year as he had last year.

Posada is better then ur current catcher options and plays in the best offense in baseball, see his production early this season batting low in the lineup now, I'm keeping him if not trading him. Lyon isn't good ur right, but it's all about saves with RPs and you could use one. Furcal is equal with Andrus, he outproduced him last year in 20 less games. Too each his own, I'll look elsewhere.

T, they really are, just interested in Andrus to bump up my steals, but last season

Furcal - 98 games, 68 runs, 8 HRs, 56 RBI, 22 steals, .300 ave

Andrus - 148 games, 88 runs, 0 HRs, 35 RBI, 32 steals, .265 ave

Only knock on Furcal is injuries but he's better when healthy.

Let me think about it. I'm a bit shocked that both you guys turned down my offer. I was actually nervous that I would regret both offers. Don't think I could/would make a deal any sweeter then that. I'll have to look at that trade, not big on Perez and Vlad is scaring me more by the min. But Castro is expendable so it's not a bad offer, I'll give it some thought.

Andrus has increased his strength in the off season .. You can see that from spring training as well as him putting one out already this season .. He is also batting second now and followed by jham instead of double play ball king and hit air on a hit a run mike young .. Andrus as the potential to swipe 50 this year as well as increase every other one of those stats too .. He as already increased one ..

And furcal is very good for the value .. If you missed on Hanley and Tulo picking up furcal in the 15th round is awesome .. If anything just look at the offenses those two play on..
