But SF had trouble making their gp fights 5 rnds, supposedly because of commissions. Maybe that was just a NJ thing?

I hope so because 5 round main events is a great idea.

i don't understand why ONLY main events, if your going that way then make everything 5 rounds... IMO it makes no sense

nah, i think all fights should be 5 rounders, that way when we get someone going for a tittle shot theyre already fought 5 rounds and can't make an excuse about not being used to it

5 round main events is a great idea. Thought he said in the past no way to that idea but glad to hear they are considering it. No thanks on every fight being a 5-rounder though.

I like having the title fights be differentiated from non title fights by having the championship rounds. If you ain't fighting for the belt you shouldn't get that honor.

I would have love to see Rampage and Machida go 5 rounds a coupkle months ago.

Maybe its because I'm originally a boxing fan where all fights have gone to a 12-round format, but this idea just doesn't really do much for me.
