Aaron Rodgers already a better QB then Favre ever was

Forget records and resumes, talent vs talent at the postition, Rodgers is the better QB.

Congrats Packers, and that team could be scary for a while, they'll get Grant, Finley and Barnett back next year, damn.

Not at all, pretty much backed up in the stats too, and even if they're equal as passers at Favre's best, Rodgers is a far far better running QB, one of the best really. Favre never had a playoff run like Rodgers did this year either.

Aaron played a very solid game but it wasn't anything special. Turnovers were the key to the game last night

Rodgers is the best QB in the NFL. Favre has the durability thing but not sure what he really does better than Aaron honestly

Rodgers is not the best QB in the NFL. I have him right behind Brees as the 3rd best QB in the NFL.

No ones denying that Aaron is one of the best QBs in the league but he def isn't the best. And as far as Favre yeah Aarons better now but he def isn't better than Favre ever was.... come on. He could be in the future

I think Peyton is still better for sure. No doubt in my mind. But if you want to argue he is better then Tom and Drew then I don't have a problem with that. But IMO Peyton is still clearly better.

Yeah I don't agree there. I think both Ben and Vick are overrated. I actually think guys like Rivers and Ryan are closer to Aaron then the guys you mentioned. But for now I think Aaron has clearly seperated himself from those guys and the only guys in the dicussion with him are Petyon, Tom and Drew. Just my opinion.

Just not seeing it. The only thing any of those guys have over Rodgers is they've been playing longer. If we're breaking QBs down right now and what they bring to the table there's nobody better IMO

I think Aaron's mobility is what allows him to be in the discussion. Drew, Peyton and Tom are all very accurate, smart QBs. I think Aaron is up there in that group, how you rank those 4 are up for debate IMO. I just don't see Aaron being #1 just yet, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him take that spot in the near future.

Right on but you can't just assume that Rodger career is gonna endup better than Bretts now, I don't think there is anything wrong with thinking he will end up a better QB than Brett was but what if he falls down the steps in the offseason and suffers a career ending injury? I mean it's just to soon to claim he is now better than Favre ever was.

Tough to say because Brett was pretty damn good for a few years there when he won the SB and loss to Elway. Brett was a great player for a long time and think this maybe alittle bit of a knee-jerk reaction to him playing great last night.

Definitely way too early to tell. When Rodgers wins League MVP 3 years in a row we can talk about who's better at any point.

i disagree. He is very talented, but if you want to compare career stats with Brett Favre it should be career numbers. He's number 1 in A LOT of categories. Some by a large margin. Right now Aron Rodgers is in his prime, and he does already have the same number of SB wins. And i think you are playing down the overall talent of the Green Bay roster. That defense is nasty. Their receivers are really good too. Greg Jennings is a great receiver and a play maker, Driver is a veteran who is consistent and a leader, and the white guy Jordy Nelson or whatever his name is pretty damn good too. When the go with the spread offense it's a nightmare matchup for most defenses.

Super Bowl wins has to be the most decieving stat for QBs. Big Ben is not better then guys like Rogers and Peyton. Troy Aikman isn't better then Dan Marino.
Oggy is right, you have to look at the entire team and this Packers team is very talented and I thought they were clearly the more talented overall team last night.

After three seasons as a starter, Rodgers has been more successful. That is all.
