Overall, the event averaged 561,000 viewers (853,000 peak), which is more than any single Strikeforce event broadcast on Showtime in the past year.

The ranking just behind 2009's female championship fight between Cristiane "Cyborg" Santos and Gina Carano, which averaged 576,000 viewers (856,000 peak) for the card.

Both, and a little bit of the two title fights pumpage, no football, people snowed in on a Saturday. I think their ratings will continue to climb with their HW cards as well. Hendo vs Calavcante might dip though.

the HW cards will get great ratings IMO, Hendo has a solid following so I think it will be an average card but taking Mayhem off the card will hurt for sure

Hendo has the highest profile KO in MMA history. They may dip but he's a good draw.

Well bird, that depends on when the show peaked. If it peaked at 853K when Walker's fight was on then yeah, he had a lot to do with it but it does not say when the show peaked.

Unless people thought Herschel Walker was the main event, which is silly considering the event was called Diaz vs. Cyborg...this is all Nick Diaz and big news for Strikeforce.
