Yeah I saw that this morning. Kenny vs Melvin makes sense to me.

This is a very tough call to pick.

Guillard has the far better stand up advantage....and his takedown defense is very good.

Kenflo's takedowns are average at best IMO, but his ground game is 10x better than Melvins....so if Kenflo got it to the ground, I dont see anyway Guillard gets back up.

Pretty tough fight to choose the winner for.

Most of Kenny's subs come following rocking someone in the standup like he did with Gomi and Guida in his last 2 wins. Not sure that would happen here

How long ago was this?

I think Kenny has a good enough chin and good enough reach and standup to be effective enough standing to eventually get the fight down if he wanted to.

I love Kenflo and he has a better stand-up game than Evan, but unless he has doen some hardcore training with his wrestling coach, I don't see this being good for him.

I don't even like Kenny, I hate on him all the time. I like Melvin, root for him all the time. I'm just surprised I have to defend Kenny here. IMO people are overreacting to Melvin right now, he has improved but I still think he is getting slightly too much credit right now.

Melvin is a stud and joining Jackson was the best thing he could've done. I think he is way better than the Melvin of two years ago. He always seemed like he was top 5 in raw talent alone. The guy has great hands, hits hard, and is very fast. Jackson has this guy in incrdible shape and plans his fights great. I think this will be his year in the LW division. He rapes Kenny!
