| So now it looks like Strikefore made this matchup due to Barnett licensing being up in the air. Hopefully, Barnett gets his license restated and able to fight Overeem, Werdum, or Rogers this March.

| I think AA has the better hands and speed, but Sergei has been practicing with and facing world class kick boxers for the last year. I think Sergei although maybe losing a round or two will put Andre away later in the fight. I think Andre best approach would be to try to grapple with Sergei and try to work him on the ground. What ever happens this is just a fun fight all around. | |

| I like AA's overall speed, footwork and hands here, whether he hasn't been on form or not, neither has Serg in MMA bouts the last couple years, not putting to much into the Mizuno win. This will also be Serg's first fight in a cage. | |

| Im liking AA here. I just feel he is the better striker.
Yeah Sergei has fought in K-1, but he's gotten KO'd against anyone worth a salt.
AA should also have a big edge when the fight is not a pure striking affair. Add in that he should have a pretty decent reach advantage and Im thinking AA gets a much needed win. | |
