| Just curious to what you all think. Thiago looked great against howard and now has a nutrition coach which he claims his weight cuts are a lot easier and he has more energy and a better gas tank. Would a fully energized Thiago make a run or would he be on his back again for 5 rounds losing another lopsided decision. | |

As far as I know his TD defense is still the same, so no he would do exactly the same as before. He would be on his back the entire fight.

| GSP is still a better wrestler and a better striker and a better BJJ black belt. | |

| Hell no.
People forget that GSP was the one with a bump on his elbow the size of a tennis ball and groin injury in that bout. Thiago just fought a tailor made opponent after being dominated by Jon Fitch about as thoroughly as he was by GSP. Nothing has changed and my guess is he'll never be in a cage opposite of GSP again.

| Compared to others lately, Alves did pretty good the first time and still was handled. I don't think he would do better the second time. | |
