Sylvia to Strikeforce?

A local radio show( Dwyer & Michaels :: 2Dorks.com ) had Big Tim Sylvia on this morning. He said that he has signed a contract with the Japanese pro wrestling circuit that he made an appearance for. He'll be doing two more pro wrestling shows over there.

He also said that he is going to sign with Strikeforce, and is going to fight again in March of 2011. If Strikeforce can't get a fight for him, he's going to fight Pedro Rizzo for the Powerhouse MMA Heavyweight belt that he won when he beat The Headhunter.

Just an update for anyone wondering. War Big Tim!

Yea his manager said there was something big they had to keep under wraps, and that the Powerhouse MMA title fight wasn't a sure thing.

Not that Im overly interested in seeing that guy fight.

Tim is a good gatekeeper to have, definitely not top 10 anymore, he was a guy that used his size and had good stand up, but his chin and skills arent what they once were.

Tim is still a top 15 guy in my book. He just KO'd Buentello and another guy this weekend as well. He needs TRT or something though to get his edge back.

I can agree with being possible 15 material I just think to many people beat him now

WTF was that LOL. Timmy is no where near top 15 anymore.

Yeah, Tim knows MMA for what it's worth but I pick 15 guys to beat him at heavyweight and more realistically closer to 20 maybe more, plus some LHWs and MW's. Saying that with actual respect to, becuase that still makes him one of the biggest most dangerous men on the planet.

Fedor, Brock, Werdum, Big Foot, Cain Velasquez, Shane Carwin, Junior Dos Santos, Roy Nelson, Frank Mir, Josh Barnett, Alistair Overeem, Andrei Arlovski, Cheik Kongo, Cro Cop, would give Schaub, Brett Rogers and Gabe Gonzaga to all beat him, as well as Rand Couture again.

He has some good fights at SF, why not

Dana said that was never on the table, and that Rizzo should retire.

I thought Dana was quoted saying that the winner comes back to UFC. Probably somebody from bloody elbow making shit up again.

Rizzo said that. Dana refuted claims.

Its safe to say tim is not the same tim of the last few years. He is taking it serious agian which it shows.
