Conan

Watched his new show last night, and must say that it was simply awful. I'm not sure if it was because it was new and they were trying too hard, or if the format just isn't funny anymore, or what... But it was really uncomfortable to sit through. I never watched his late late show, but did watch when he took over for Leno and thought he was pretty funny and original. I hope that the skits and other parts of the show that he lost to NBC aren't so much that the show is going to be this bland again. I'll watch and hopefully he'll find his footing and return to old form, but I'm finding in my old age that my patience is short and my attention span is narrowing...

i watched the first hour and liked it a lot, its conan and thats what i expected from him. very happy to see him back on late night

I forgot to tune into this. I was watching MNF.

It was pretty good considering the guests. Rogan came off like a douche and the chick was pretty ho hum. The opening scene was golden, where he has all the different jobs. Tonight should be better on the guest front. Tom Hanks is always a gamer on late night talkshows. Ferrell would of been the best case scenario for a guest. Ii imagine he will be on shortly, he is on George Lopez a lot. I think it was a below average episode for his show, but there was a lot of venting. Probably gets better once the wheels get turning more.

ya i thought it sucked and Rogen came off looking like a dork who thinks cussing and fart jokes are cool

no it comes on at 11 here, then they show Lopez, then they show the Conan replay

A much better effort on the second show. Seemed to flow much better overall and the skit with the TBS censor guy was solid. The interview with Tom Hanks was much better and smoother than the night before. Only complaint I still have is they really need to work on the sound for the bands.

I'm really hoping that NBC didn't kill a lot of his skits like Year 3000, Conando and others though. Those were what really made the show for me...
