| Keep in mind he just did what Wanderlei and Houston Alexander have also done in the last two years. Where are they now in the division?
Impressive victory none the less, which will compel me to have him supplant the very on and off Jardine from the top ten, but are we really supposed to believe he's a legit threat to the division elite?
Still not sold on him. He caught Jardine with his hands down. That loss has more to do with Jardine's early fight chin and his poor defense than it does anything Thiago brings. Can't see him KO'ing Rampage, Rashad, Vera, Jones, Machida, Little Nog or Forrest like that.

| Not a legit contender to Lyoto Machida. I think Dragon established that in Janurary.
Silva vs. Vera or Nog would be my ideal next fight for him. I think Thiago is a lot better than you have been giving him credit for. His standup has carried him a long way and he has a ground game as well.

| I used to be more of a fan of his until I watched his entire career and found that he is pretty over rated and sloppy. Now I am super shitty with him for KOing Keith. I'll come around sooner or later. | |

| I like him and I think he'll get another shot at the belt down the line. He's talented and obviously has KO power. | |

| I'd prob sell. For one, we know he is not in Machida's class. 2ndly it's still not clear if he's in the class of Evans Page Shogun etc. He's firmly top 10, but top 10 does not mean your a legit challenger. He's pretty fun to watch though. Lot's of interesting fights available for him. I could see Thiago vs Page, Franklin, Cane, all being barn burners. | |

| Luiz Cane would stop him in under two minutes bro. | |

how do you figure that? Is that along the lines of Machida finished him in just under 5 mins, cane is more then twice as good as Machida, thus Cane would KO him in under 2? Last time I saw Cane fight he was going the distance.

| Cane has amazing defense, is much faster and has an iron chin. Thiago would exchange and get dusted. Bet it. | |

| I think he's a legit fighter. Borderline top 10 LHW material. Not a title contender, though. | |

| He is a borderline top 10 and I don't see him moving up too much more. He's young enough to continue to improve, but doesn't show anything out of the ordinary that makes me think he'll ever challenge Machida, Mousasi, Anderson, and the rest of the top. | |

| Ya, he doesn't seem to have natural speed or explosiveness. Good power in his hands and he came ready to smash Jardine in this match up though. Maybe he has other intangibles. We need to see him take on Vera. | |

| I want to see Thiago Silva vs Forrest Griffin, the fight that was suppose to happen before the UFC mixed things up. | |

I'd go with a double KO on that one lol A loss for Forrest would be devastating, UFC might not want to risk that right now. I just think it would be an interesting fight.

| Sell, but I think he makes for some great fights with other 205 lbs'ers in the ufc. I don't care that he isn't close to Machida's level, because so far, who is? Thiago would match up well with a lot of 205 lbs'ers to make some exciting fights. Jardine was asking to get ko'd. Everytime he comes out bouncing with his hands down and making his crazy faces, I root for him to get ko'd. He is very susceptible to early ko's, which makes me wonder why he doesn't tighten up his defense, especially in the first round. Jardine is tough, but his early match chin and apparant cockiness in his awkwardness is getting the best of him. | |
