lol Gomi is SHOT, doesn't even resemble his former self in the glory days. He's lost the will to win. Nate would wipe the floor with him unless he could somehow manage to go back in time or something, idk im fucked up haha

I will not pay money to watch Bj destroy Gomi for a second time, this time will be much worse. It would be very dangerous for Gomi to even accept that fight.

Four years too late but even then it's not like he would have won anything. Japanese fighters for whatever reasons can never win in the UFC even at the top of their games, much less once their better days are likely behind them. He is cut and fighting in Dream by September.

Gomi huh, nice, he'll still bring some exciting fights, I like the signing, give him someone like Stevenson first, or Uno, I don't think they've ever fought.

Because their overrated

To a degree, but it's more than that. They can often compete fine in Japan with the same caliber of dudes who trash them stateside. The vibe is different, the culture is different, the whole fight experience is way different. Ever read what some of them say about fighting in the US? They hate it. I think it is just as much a mental thing as it anything to do with rankings, styles, weight cuts and the cage.

I think it's a combination of things including what Wolf said. Also there is no testing over there so fighters can basically do what they want in putting shit into their body and alot of Japanese fighters don't cut weight. They cut a little but nowhere near like US guys do.

I've wanted to see him slug it out with Melvin Guillard for years. That would be a quick, but explosive fight.
