Brock vs Cain is being promoted like Rocky IV

They keep showing us how good Cain's cardio is, how fast he is and they even had him on MMA Live doing all their tests. Brock will prove that Cain is not a machine, he's a man.

You've got the situation totally backwards.

I wouldn't call Brock the underdog and I certainly don't feel like he is being portrayed as one.

The betting odds go to Brock. The average UFC fan thinks it's gonna be Brock. Brock's the favorite.

Did anyone watch MMA Live? All the tests they were doing on Cain made me sick.

Why?

They were doing tests against dummies that "prove" he is as strong and powerful as Brock. As if Brock is just going to stand there in the cage motionless while Cain runs his fastest and takes him down. They were basically pulling Cain's pants down to please him.

I just assumed it was another infomercial and enjoyed it. People don't Cain like they know Brock, so the UFC and Cain need to sell him as a viable threat. MMA Live needs to sell itself to its hardcore audience as well as newer/casual fans, so they can get better timeslots and what have not while dealing with Beaseball's rying.

Thats what i was thinking as well, how is that possible

Seriously though, maybe he knows how to throw a good punch with his whole body. It could be a different kind of punch than one that would be thrown in a fight. You guys ever hit one of those punching strength testers in an arcade? I have and would never try to punch a person the same way.

I agree. But who is the biggest(size wise) boxer they have tested? Isn't Cain around 240lbs?
