Nick Diaz and Mayhem Miller got into scuffle backstage last night

A source who witnessed the scene, Diaz and Miller locked eyes while passing each other in the hallway between the dressing rooms and the pressroom as the post-event press conference took place. Words were exchanged, and Diaz allegedly threw a water bottle at Miller. The two were immediately broken up by members of their respective camps and Showtime officials.

"(Nick Diaz‎ vs. Jason "Mayhem" Miller) would be a great fight to promote," Scott Coker said. "It's not hard to promote that fight. But we'll see if they really want to do fight in the cage. It's one thing to have them bump in to each other in the hallway and call each other names. But if they really want to fight in the cage, if anybody can put it together, we can put it together."

They almost have to lol. There is beef there and it has to be settled.

yea that is serious bad blood now. That fight must happen.

This fight =$$$$ for all parties involved and it would be a great fight for the fans. I still think Miller would make Nick look silly. Nick better land a good punch like he did on Lawler back in the day to win this fight imo.

Mayhem isn't cutting weight to make this happen though, he has no chance in hell of making 170. Diaz either moves up or its not going down

The guy walks around at 200 lbs. It would be unfair for him to have a fight at 170. There is no fight right now at 170 for Nick imo. He should just fight Mayhem at 185 like he did Frank. Unless Nick only wants to fight old washed up guys at 185lbs? If Nick pulls the 170 only card then we all know he is scared.

Awesome, they still have this grudge match for Diaz and they already got a lot of mileage out of the Noons Diaz saga. I can't believe SF's strategy was criticized when Diaz would obviously have to move up for this.

GSP's never fought at 185. Nick has. He's shown that he's able to move up and fight there, so why won't he do it now? The only reason I can think is he must be scared to lose.

nick hasn't fought at 185. He's fought at 180 against Shamrock and Smith.

Yeah, I forgot those were catchweights, but the point still remains because Mayhem said he'd meet him at 180.

i think nick will step up and do it. Probably wont happen till early next year though.

yea SF has said this repeatedly in the past about other fights and failed to deliver.

What fights in the past have they failed to deliver on? HW bouts first postulated in 2010?

We know Miller wants the fight, and Coker at least claims to. That leaves Diaz as the only one who's yet to profess an interest, which is a shame, for several reasons

well according to scott coker at the post fight press confrence he's not too concerned about making the fight happen. When asked who's next for Diaz, Coker said the winner os Scott Smith vs Paul Daley and even through in Evangleista Cyborg's name.
