In a day of new rules approved by the Nevada State Athletic Commission, MMA fans will now be able to look forward to five round non-title fights for special events after the idea was approved.

It is now understood that most major shows will culminate in a five round fight, even if a title does not feature on the card.

eh, i think it takes away from title fights but i guess it's fine when so many 3 rounders end too soon and have BS decisions. *cough* Condit-Kampmann *cough*

Found one.

This new rule states that only main event fights could be 5 rounds, not all fights.

Not so bad.

I'm waiting for the official link from the NSAC, all I have right now is the proposal along with all the other things that were on the block but I know it has passed.
