They're going to cast Chris Pine as the new Jack Ryan. Way to ruin another great franchise. Disgusting. I'm sure the moron generation will love it. The Sum of All Fears wasn't bad, but wouldn't it have been so much better with a 58 year old Ryan (as in the novel) played by Harrison Ford, rather than a cute 28 year old played by Affleck?

Indeed he was. If they are not going to continue with Ford, Baldwin (if he could shed a few pounds) would be my next choice to play Jack Ryan.

Ben Affleck actually done a decent job with the character, but as you know studios like to move on to the next hot young actor. I like Pine so I'm fine with the choice.

The character is supposed to be in his 50's or 60's , depending on which book it's based on. It's retarded to suddenly make him 30.
