I know we have some intelligent folk in here.

Who knows where I can check to see if an invention idea has already been patented or has ever been invented yet or not? Does it cost anything?

Just curious. Any help would be appreciated guys.

Yeah, I know they're expensive. I just want to check and see if my idea has ever been done before, at least before I go about making any decisions.

I will ask my granpa when i get a chance he has patented stuff before

On a serious note, I think about inventions all the time, I have a book/notebook of them, some I find out later have been invented.

Really? Well your mother's was probably my least favorite...very loose and what not. Ya'd need a baseball bat to fit in that thing LOL

But also on a serious note...yeah I have too...my family has been notorious for coming up with ideas and then not following through with inventing them...and then they get invented and get sold like crazy.

I'm hoping the thing I want to do hasnt been done yet...I looked all over the internet and found nothing on what I was thinking of doing...but I looked in a magazine and seen a picture of something similar to what I was wanting to do.

LA beat me! I had to go to work though. My buddy went through Inventitech and got screwed out of money when his no mess, no fuss tire shine idea flopped. Now they make the same kind of bottles for tire shine.
