| I said before Hardy vs GSP that Scott Smith would beat Hardy and got drilled for it. I even said it assuming they fight at MW. | |

| Smith was the only guy I considered not putting in the bracket, but the comeback wins over Le, the title fight wars against Lawler, and the comeback against Benji were enough. If he were to weather Belfort's early speed and aggression, clinch him against the cage and tire him out he could win that fight. | |

| Hardy before his UFC career had his power somewhat questioned in his hands. Smith is a durable guy, and at WW I am not sure what would happen with Hardy's speed or his power. Smith would have to land a homerun shot or otherwise he'd be picked apart by Hardy's technical boxing. | |

| Thats a good tournament. Matchups you don't really think about...the only one that does not look close on paper is Belfort/Smith...but i got Smith via KO at 4:59 of the 3rd round after dropping two rounds 8-10.

Cung beats Wandy and is beaten by Vitor in the finals. If Cung has his cardio right he kills everyone of them. Wandy would stand with him and get embarrassed, but Vitor would go for the TD more and end up getting him down imo.
