Well, he did get past the primary securing over 99% of the vote... Running unopposed... lol.

I like Chael, but I'm just not sure MMAers are destined for political greatness... I have a feeling that our ever fading blue state still isn't quite ready for red MMAers to represent them (Never know, since I have a feeling we're going to vote a former mid-level NBA center as our first Republican Governor since 1987???). Sonnen will likely fall in the same manner that Lindland did when he was running for a House seat...

Oregon has voted democratic as a state every election since 1988... You are too far removed from things here, Bird. Come back so I can educate you properly. It was a slow and gradual trasnformation from red to blue, but we are starting to lean a little more red every day with the way Obummer is running things...

Sonnen has charisma that's for sure. I think it'd be cool if he got elected.

I highly doubt I fall anywhere close to the same side of most issues as Sonnen but he definitely has charisma
