Jokes aside...Hardy has a high threshold. That kimura was tight.

That was impressive GSP, but let's if you can do that to Paul Daley!

GSP is far too critical of himself he completely dominated Hardy.

I am proud of Hardy he's got one amazing pain threshold. Sure he was outclassed but grappling is non existent in the UK.

Yeah Hardy is a tough dude. I like him. I wish they would have thrown down a bit more. Hardy didn't bring it enough. He should have tried to dot GSP up in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th round. He just stood back trying to throw jabs??? and a hook or two from a foot away??? Hardy didn't bring any brawl in his bag of tools period!

Hardy, of who I am not a fan at all, was impressive. It is obvious that he came well prepared and showed heart, tenacity, and better grappling skills than I would have thought. Major brownie points from me!

I was not impressed with Hardy's game whatsoever. Especially after all the shit talk leading into the fight. He landed hardly any shots when they exchanged standing up. The only thing I am impressed with is his toughness.

Yeah, Hardy has no game for somebody like GSP. Hardy is in the Marcus Davis territory of WW yet he got a title shot. He is tough but we all knew he was tough and would be able to take a lickin before the fight...other than that, GSP not snapping his arm when he had the chance is the difference between this fight going 2-3 rounds and going the distance.

Hardy had never faced someone like GSP...you could say the same thing for anyone else who is entering the octagon against him for the first time. He didn't quite understand how great GSP's takedowns and top control are. GSP should've snapped his arm, Hardy obviously wasn't going to tap, GSP just didn't have the balls to break it. Oh well, it was a dominating performance once again. Hardy had nothing for Rush.

Hardy was in pure survival mode in this fight for about 23 minutes. I don't think he ever scored a significant position or point against GSP in that fight.

I'm impressed he didn't get his ass beat more like Fitch did against GSP though. He cant be feeling good after though sub attempts right now.

GSP should have finished him in the first or second round. He needs to be finishing these fights.

I think he was pretty disappointed that he didn't finish. You gotta give Hardy some credit for not tapping, though. Most guys would've tapped to that armbar. Next time I hope GSP finishes the armbar if his opponent refuses to tap.

well georgie was more willing to stand vs Fitch, and that is where he dished out most of the big punishment. Last night was a little more about taking the fight to the ground.

agreed especially given the fact that hardy said he was going to hit him every second untill the fight hit the ground then get back up and hit him again

I think all WW title contenders should have to fight Fitch or Koscheck and they must prove to be able to defend the take down and win the fight before getting a title shot because otherwise GSP is goin to keep on raping

They can defend takedowns against Kos and Fitch all day...then GSP will take them down at will.
