I'm suprised so many people are thinking Torres wins his belt back, I think Bowles has proved he's more than legit, he's stronger, a harder puncher and has great wrestling to keep it standing. Torres takes too much damage, I think Bowles would finish him again.

While it might surprise some, Bowles has been in the WEC longer than Torres and they both have exactly 4 top bonafide top ten wins, and all of Bowles opponents are still ranked on sherdog, many of Torres' are not, such as Manny Tapia and Chase Beebee.

Bowles has 8 fights, but at least half of them are dominations of top ten fighters. Miguel has been in his share of battles in the WEC. The only WEC fight who wasn't a sure thing top ten win is Charlie Valencia( and I am pretty sure he has been ranked in the top ten in the past, is a former title contender for Faber's KOTC crown before he was exclusive to WEC, and is no can with wins over Antonio Banuelos and 3 other WEC fights) If you count him, Bowles has more top ten wins than Torres does.

Bowles only has 3 club fighter type wins, Torres has 30+. This is the main difference. Go through them all on fight-finder. The vast, vast majority of them have losing records or only 1 single fight, the fight with Torres. Torres is the most padded fighter of all time in MMA, not even Igor Vovchanchyn comes close. Go through his record. You will literally laugh your ass off.

All that said, I do see Torres as someone with enough natural skill and ability to become more elusive and avoid the big shootouts that cost him finally, given his speed and length.

But no, Brian Bowles is the better fighter. He has, regardless of all the 200 cans he has crushed, the better resume, and has flatted Torres.

Not sure who he loses to, but kind of like FW has been here as of late, I don't feel these divisions are solid enough yet to not have parity with other guys beating guys a lot. Too many other young guys, too turbulent.

Not that I'd be surprised if he stayed undefeated. Bowles is really good. I also wouldn't be overly shocked if Torres didn't win a rematch. Bowles I feel is better, but Torres could improve with this loss. Before Brian he was all "I have more confidence in my chin than ever now" and "its all about brawling for a show". Maybe he'll fight smarter.

Again, hard to say with these relatively young, recent additions to the fight game.

Aldo loses to Faber.

Brock would have lost his title either way, but now he certainly will. Likely to Mir, or all the guys better than he was anyway, Nog, Cain, maybe Fedor and so on.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. tongue
