What do you want to happen to your body after you die?

What will happen to your remains? Will you have a funeral or a potluck? Buried or embalmed? This or that etc.,?

If my body was mostly intact upon death, I would want to be wheeled up to this old bar me and all my friends used to always have fun at when we were young. Sit me in a chair in the corner, put some sunglasses on me, a party hat and make my mouth have a half smile smirk on it, you know so the kids could sit on my lap and take pictures and my friends could pout booze down my throat, the fun stuff.

Then we go down the lake for the grand finale, load me into a wooden canoe filled with kindling and push me out into the liquid. Even though I'm not really a viking, the next step is to shoot a flaming arrow into that boat as the sun sets.

I want a Viking funeral followed by a big party with lots of alcohol. I doubt it will happen though.

Yeah, I don't think women understand viking funerals at all, they'd be looking to ruin my special day.

Potluck? Doesn't that term refer to a party where everyone brings food or drinks? Doesn't make sense really to me in this context?


It's kind of tradition here with some of my friends and family to have a get together in memory of someone. When my cousin, uncle and a couple of my buddies died we all go together and smoked and drank and ate a little bit. It's suppose to be a celebration of their life but I always have a hard time with it.

I suppose I would want to be buried somewhere near my dad. I'd want a funeral because that is what my mother and sisters would want. Then there would be another part of my family and a few of my friends that would probably have a get together.

No open casket, I don't agree with putting people through that.

Cremated and have my ashes spread on top of this place

I guess it's not really a big deal to you after all the shit you went through as a kid in Bosnia. I couldn't imagine having to deal with all that as an adult let alone as a kid

my body won't be much use to me after i die so i don't particularly care but if my body could be recycled into something useful then why not do that with it?

I wanna be fed to pigs, become one with them and end up as bacon. I will live on forever
