Over 400,000....they're absolutely thrilled. The show, it was...they had predicted 250. Budgeted 250, I shouldn't say predicted. But I mean, the predictions internally were 250-300. So they blew away their predictions, big time. It's..uh..yeah..it's not as big as I've seen some numbers floating around, it wasn't THAT big, but if you think about what all things considered it was enormous. It was a huge success. Actually, the reality is that it was probably...there was a very good chance that the promotion of Rousey was TOO successful because she's been offered a role in the next...whatever it is...the next Hunger Games movie that they're going to film. And once that happens it's like...you know, who knows? She's making a lot of money fighting, I don't know what those numbers are going to be when they come out when they're released. But she's making a ton of money. They signed her to a hell of a contract because they really did believe...not necessarily that she'd be this giant PPV draw, but in other ways she'd be incredibly valuable to the company. And so far she has turned out to be more valuable than they expected.

Dave claims that DirecTV is stating that no other UFC PPV show has ever sold more buys for the High Definition telecast than UFC 157 drew.

Dave said Rousey/Carmouche out-drew Anderson Silva/Stephan Bonnar and was parallel to the Jon Jones/Vitor Belfort fight. “I suspect Ronda (will be) no worse than the #5 draw in the company if she continues to win.” Dave says that one UFC company source believes Ronda can draw 700,000 PPV buys a fight if she continues her winning streak over the next year.

Carmouche had the bigger press overage as far as writing goes, thats for sure, ROusey does the ate night appearances but several publications wrote about Rousey being a Sandy Hook conspiracy theorist.
Its pretty clear that one tweet has caused her some endorsement money.
She isnt that smart, Im sure she will fuck up on a larger stage and in an even bigger way at some point.

No one noticed a tweet about a conspiracy video. Ronda got 10x the press as everyone else in any format. She's talking to NY to get MMA legalized. You are way off on her.

It was mentioned in some non-mma outlets articles I read leading up to the fight. Similar to what Bird said, Liz was depicted as the person people really wish they could get behind, the everywomen so to say, where Rousey is the big time and the star, Apollo Creed, and a reported Sandy Hook birther.
