Excellent high level fight to start Bellator's tenure on Spike. You could make the argument both of those guys are top 5 at 145. Curran is such a fantastic striker. Brilliant to watch

Yeah the next defense will be meaningless but atleast this tournament should produce something like a rematch with Patricky or Will Brooks which will be better. He does need the UFC right now though

I really think he could give Aldo a scare, if Aldo came in and had a Hominick-esque flat performance i could easily see Curran winning but then again I doubt Aldo comes in like that vs Curran. Either way, its very apparent that he is easily top 5 and morethan likely top 3 in the division. I was really impressed with how he handled Warren and after seeing this fight I am convinced.

Yes this fight vs Pitbull was close but Curran delivered when it mattered and landed really sharp effective strikes.

One things for sure Bellator (with their contracts) is lining up to offer some legit small level opposition to Zuffa
