Dana says Machida vs Hendo is next up

Yeah I thought Hendo would just get his shot since Vitor-Jones is happening right away anyway. Machida deserved to lose his shot

who is next for Bones then? since Vitor is fighting Bones next week and all

It's not set. Anything can still happen. It's just the next matchup Dana has in mind.

Who is Rashad going to get, know one is left that is on his level is there, odd man out again? I think Machida will pick Hendo apart with quick, accurate strikes, but Hendo an amazing chin, so if he can last through it, you never know.

What about a Rampage rematch for Rampage's last fight? Not sure how long he is out for.

Dana is such a tool. It's hilarious how he's actling like "You see what happens, Lyoto..you see way happens" when Machida didnt take the fight knowing that he would have to fight somebody else. He would rather fight sombody else and for the first time actually have a full training camp to fight Jones. Keep in mind, he didnt have a full camp the first time. Machida cannot afford to lose to Jon Jones twice. Dana acting like Machida was stupid to pass up a chance to walk into a fight with Jones on 3 weeks notice and now have to fight a 40+ year old man coming off a long layoff who Machida will likely cause matchup problems. Machida is going to defeat Henderson and hopefully Dana will be so kind to actually give Machida a chance to have a full training camp rather than under 2 months and 3 weeks notice.

Until then..Dana isnt teaching Lyoto a lesson although he thinks he is. Machida wanted this fight, no doubt in my mind.

I really hope Machida doesn't beat Hendo. But it's definitely possible.

i know dana is pissed at machida but dont take it out on my boy hendo.......this could ruin it for hendo. I was hoping for the winner of jones belfort. I still pick hendo to win but it wont be easy

He's pissed at Hendo too for not letting me know he was injured sooner.

yeah but old man hendo was planning on fighting he did not know for sure until it was too late. Had he given up early and healed up he would of screwed himself. Im 50/50 on this one

I don't blame Hendo, but Dana does partially. He's said so.

Even if Hendo loses too Machida he's still going to be in the mix when you consider how quickly Bones is tearing through the division.

I bet the rematch would be more entertaining. It would make sense considering what is out there right now. It's also a fight Rampage will probably lose again which I'm sure the UFC wants. Even if he does win Rashad can just drop to MW. That's actually a good fallback for Rashad and an excuse to be more aggressive.

Got Machida here. Just find it hard to believe Hendo will land a bomb on Lyoto. Machida picks hendo apart.

I actually see this as Dana punishing Hendo more then Lyoto. Machida does not deserve a title shot in any way. A win here gets him close though. Hendo deserved a shot. Now he has to win one to get one.

Thought I agree with Ali in that Hendo could lose here and still not be too far out of the mix. A loss for Machida puts him at least 3 wins away from a title shot.
