Even with the lost hype, how many PPVs would Brock vs Fedor do today?

Would still do massive #s IMO

IF this fight was done at the perfect time, I think it would have done 2 million. Probably at the end of 09 to beginning of 2010. Before Brock fought Carwin and Fedor fought Werdum.
But even now, I think there is still a big enough following for both men that it could do over 1 million.

easy million, at least... and if the ufc was the one advertising it i'd expect even more

I could see it doing 1.5 plus with a real marketing campaign.

Oh yeah I'm talking about the works. ESPN runs, count down show, no injury set backs and no rushes. Planned out and promoted hard. No big co-main event for help though. I'm not talking about a weak card, just nothing special.

So you think it could do more then 1 million but not quit 1.5(UFC 100)? Still pretty good numbers for them at this point. What do you think the peak could have been for this fight? If it was done at the perfect time before the lost hype.

So you think UFC 148 and Brock vs Fedor(now) would do the same kind of #s? I think UFC 148 does just under a mil and Brock-Fedor would do just over a mil. I don't think 148 sniffs 100.

What if it was promoted by ESPN as a 1 time, fight of the century? ESPN PPV, ESPN everywhere.

1.5-2 million if done like most others are saying.

I wonder what the betting line would look like if it was announced today.

Its lost alot of interest now but I could still see it selling well. 700-800 range.

If the UFC or WWE promoted it then it would get between 1.1-1.5 million. If it was done when Fedor was undefeated and Brock UFC champ it would've been the biggest PPV ever.
