NATO Killed 73 Civilians in Libya

so the numbers are in, 73 civilians were killed by NATO bombs in the Libyan campaign.

imo thats nothing compared to the thousands that Gaddhaffi was killing and shows that while the campaign may not have been as peachy as they wanted everyone to believe. This wasn't a massive fuck up like the 100,000 dead in Iraq.

They shouldn't have been there anyway. Had nothing to do with anyone but the Libyans. Not worth it if even 1 innocent person dies.

Only time will tell, I personally don't think we should stand around and let dictators kill innocent civilians (a lot more than 73, same with Saddam he gassed over 100,000 Kurds alone )
NATO has strict by laws and votes, all the nations have to agree, that's what happened, look at the big Nato missions of last 20 years, Kosovo ( not one American death and a cease fire and trial by people) and Libya ( no American deaths, 73 Libyan deaths) . Also look at the gulf war the coalition raised was amazing and paid for the entire war.

Compare that to the, American military unilaterally does everything approach in Iraq. Personally as an American, U.N. and NATO run operations are better than letting America do it themselves and be stuck holding the bill
