Linderman (11-3). Cage Warriors officials today announced the Irish headliner. The event, which features a championship doubleheader, takes place June 2 at The Helix in Dublin, and the main card streams live on MMAjunkie.com. Hayes and Linderman first fought back in 2009 at a regional Alliance Fights show in Washington. Linderman won the bout via unanimous decision, but their paths never crossed when they both subsequently joined Bellator. "I can't stand D.J. Linderman," Hayes stated. "He's a piece of trash. I'm going to smash him." Hayes recently won the Cage Warriors' heavyweight title with a third-round submission victory over Andreas Kraniotakes in March. It marked "300's" sixth straight win and his 10th win in his past 11 fights. The lone loss came via close split decision to Alexey Oleinik (31-6-1 at the time) at Bellator 26. Linderman, who briefly went to light heavyweight for Bellator's fourth-season tournament, recently made his Cage Warriors debut and scored a unanimous-decision victory over Bobby Brents in an April headliner. He's now 4-2 in his past six fights, and the defeats came to Richard Hale (split decision) and Moise Rimbon (unanimous decision), who are a combined 37-13-3. Although former UFC champion Jens Pulver was announced for the event, officials today told MMAjunkie.com he won't be part of the card. | The only fighter who failed to make weight on her initial attempt today was veteran Aisling Daly (126.8,), but she quickly cut the extra weight in the alloted time and is now cleared for her bout with Rosi Sexton.

Yeah I won't spoil but the last 4 fights are all very watchable. Hayes-Linderman isn't a great fight, but it's a good fight and I was impressed by the winner. | |

I was impressed by Linderman. It was a 5 round fight so both guys had to conserve energy a little bit. But Linderman overall seems to have a nice chin and decent standup. Also from the fights I have seen I like his heart. I think he is improving, still fairly young(28). I think he has potential for sure. With his heart, chin and having seen him go 5 rounds this last fight he has decent cardio. He is going to be tough to put away.

| Linderman said he wanted to be the HW and LHW Champion if CW would allow him to attempt that. So if he was signed to a bigger organization he would probably be back at LHW. | |
