I actually like this card a lot, top to bottom it is filled with fights that interest me, a lot of moving and shaking for top ten title contenders in several divisions.

Obviously Nick taking the WW title from GSP is at the top of my list. That is going to be an awesome moment for me as a fan.

Other then that the most exciting matchup already made that I'm looking forward to is Frankie vs Bendo.

But future fights that will happen in 2012 that I am stoked about include Reem vs JDS. That is going to be a classic.
Also looking forward to Hendo vs Rampage/Shogun/Jones next year. Don't see how Dan doesn't get one of those fights in 2012.

Douglas Lima beating Askren is a non-Zuffa moment I'm looking forward to as well.

Weak sauce is the Brazil show. Rumble vs Vitor is just a waste of time. Should have waited, I'm sure Stann could have been ready and a far more interesting matchup. Other then that most of it is just OK at the moment.

I'm looking forward to the younger Lima breaking out the way Douglas Lima has this year. They are both young fighters with a ton of potential.

Hopefully 2012 will finally be the year flys are added to the UFC. Just like Ulysses Gomez pointed out, some of these guys aren't getting any younger. TPF wants their fighters to make it to the UFC so all Dana has to do is say the word and the talent will be there.

Women's MMA should have a big year in 2012. The emergence of Ronda and Cyborg dropping down in weight will make the most stacked women's division ever.

We should know the future of SF and Showtime next year. I also expect the next player(organization) in MMA to come forward next year. 2012 will also be a big year for Bellator and I think before 2012 is over the UFC and SPIKE we totally part ways and Bellator will step in.

Of course the New Years show in Japan will be a great way to start off 2012 and I'm very much looking forward to that.

I'm interested to see what they do for a potential December 15th, 2012 card. It's the last saturday before the end of the world, so i hope they properly make up for Abu Dhabi before we die.
