The best lyricists of all time would have to be:
KRS-ONE
Nas
Eminem
Rakim
Mos Def
I dont like having Pac up there just because everyone thinks he's the greatest. Its the popular thing to say, but most people who have actually listened to alotta rap and know the guys that really set the tempo would know about KRS-ONE, Rakim and Mos Def as being some of the best of all time as well.
A few other guys I love listening to would be Joe Budden, T.I., Tupac, some of Dre, some of Jay-z, and some Talib Kweli in his old days when he worked with Mos Def.
by far the 3 best rappers of all time in my book are (in no order): Nas, Mos Def, and KRS-ONE, with Eminem coming in a close 4th. | |
