| An arm injury has forced Pedro Rizzo (19-9) out of next month's ProElite 2 headliner with fellow ex-UFC heavyweight Tim Sylvia (29-7). Rizzo today announced via Twitter that he recently suffered a partial tear of his left triceps tendon. MMAjunkie.com ( www.mmajunkie.com) could not immediately reach ProElite officials to determine if a Plan B is in place or if a replacement is being sought. "So I would like to apologize to ... According to a report from MMAFighting.com, an unidentified replacement fighter has been selected and awaits commission approval. MMAjunkie.com ( www.mmajunkie.com) could not immediately reach commission or ProElite officials for comment. In fact, it was the Illinois State Professional Athletic Commission that halted Kraniotakes' participation in the event.
