Sergei Kharitonav's next move?

He's a GG guy. We know what that entails.

He lost.

Does not, at this point anyway, put butts in the seats.

Does he get another fight under the Zuffa umbrella?

I tend to think SF is done.

But could he go UFC?

He vs Kongo would be sweet.

The UFC need depth for the HW division.

He is a good striker so he should be fighting in the UFC/Strikeforce somewhere.

Either fight with Bigfoot or mover to the UFC. He would be a big improvement over guys like Arron Rosa and Joey Beltran...

The payment of fighters seemed like a BS talking point for Dana from the beginning.

Yet none of the GG fighters that were released have been picked back up.

Given that GG prob still has plans to host some shows, UFC still might be giving the rest of that roster the cold shoulder.

Give him something fun like Hunt, CC or Barry.

Would you pick him to beat Herman? What about Meathead? Actually thinking about it a fight with Kongo could be fun. But then again we would probably see Kongo use his wrestling.

M-1 on showtime? If that org is to ever get traction it needs to start bringing in fighters with some name recognition. This fight would certainly do that.

I agree. I don't think ANYONE wants those rematches. But for whatever reason it's always thrown out there.

Just my theory, but I think Showtime was merely signing with SF because nothing else was available. If they could build M-1 up, I think they would care less what Zuffa thought.

Yeah hopefully it's on HDNet. Take place on my birthday, which is a Friday. By rule when my B-Day falls on Friday or Monday I will not go to work.
