Petition for Strikeforce to un-fuck their title pictures and holders?

This card is ok, but seriously damaged by the nonsense with the titles. Make Soko-Mousasi for a title. Make Brett-Fedor for a title. Strip Overeem.

All these need to happen. Can we start a fan petition to get them to unfuck these issues?

Though I see your POV, I don't think it will help anything. SF has a plan and they would probably stick to it.

Strikeforce started making big moves about 3 months ago. I'll give them time to un-fuck their title pitcure since they are really just getting started, It didnt matter what Overeem, Cung Le, Josh Thomson did untill a couple months ago now they are all under the microscope. Now the fact that they have not defended their titles in so long is a huge deal even though Strikeforce has hardly put on any big shows before March of this year. The title picture will be going just fine by the end of the year.

I still don't get why people are butthurt about Mousasi-Sokoudjou not being for the title. If it was, people would be bitching that Sok is an unworthy challenger. Plus, he's not under contract to Strikeforce. That like having Fedor go into UFC and fight Brock for the title without being under contract.

By the time the whole Strikeforce Title picture is sorted out, Fedor, Mousasi, Sheilds, Cung and Overeem probably won't be in Strikeforce anymore. I kind of believe this and I'm kind of just kidding around.

The main thing is the title deal with Fedor really.

Would it be wrong if Overeem got stripped and Fedor was just recognized as champion?

Yes, but then you just award it to Fedor after he stomps Rogers.

Agree, I think their title situation is indeed fucked, almost from top to bottom, both of those fights should be for titles(although in the case of soko what happens if a non sf guy has the belt? could be very overeemish). And I also think a petition, if signed by enough guys, would make them take notice.

Who cares about titles? We all know who the best is. Beating Fedor would be better than winning the title.

What if Fedor dominates the first 2 rounds and the start of the 3rd. Then late in the 3rd Rogers catches Fedor, drops him, jumps on top, lands a hammer fist, then the bell rings. Fedor unsure of where he is gets help up from his corner men. Fedor wins a unanimous decision yet probably cannot spell his name correctly at this point. Now I know that is highly unlikely, but in a 5 round fight we are more likely to have a finish and a definite winner.

Interesting point, but perhaps the 5 rounder is a negative in the eyes of CBs.

Strikeforce may also want Fedor to actually win the belt, and are still holding out hope to get Overeem in there.
