Whats funny about Barnetts analysis is that Anderson Silva was NOT IN THE LEAST kicking Chonan's ass up to that point...Chonan may have very well been ahead in that fight.

A lot of people think Chonan was winning up to that point. ..been seeing it for years.. Chonan was landing a lot of leg kicks and knees through the entire fight and took Anderson down a couple of times. I would not be the least bit surprised if Chonan was ahead with the judges.
Don't get me wrong...thats not to say i thought Chonan was winning the fight but my main purpose was to point out the misconception that Anderson Silva was destroying Chonan and then Chonan pulled out some amazing sub to save his ass when it was not like that at all..when people say that, you know they didnt watch the fight or didnt remember...they had Barnett giving commentary and it sounds like he only saw the finish and assumed because it was Anderson Silva vs. Ryo Chonan that Anderson had to have been giving him the business when it was not like that at all.

i always see on forums or where ever how Anderson was whooping him... which wasn't true at all, im not gonna say that Chonen was winning but he was holding his own in that fight
