That fight was ruined.

It doesn't matter who u think won this fight. How can u consider a winner when that many illegal shots are landed? totally pointless.


It's hard to believe such a horribly referred fight can happen at this level, and with this many eyes watching.

Just finished watching...two knockdowns that should have not been scored as knockdowns, and definetly a point or two that should have been deducted.

Agbeko was fuckin robbed.

It was even more shameful hearing that ref after the fight...but Jim Gray moved up about 10-15 notches in my book. He buried that clown who should be getting canned by the commission once this fight is reviewed. No fuckin way he thought that "knockdown punch" was on the belt line.

The Knockdown in the 1st round was a slip definitely and there were so many low blows it made my nuts hurt.

see this is what makes this fight pointless to discuss. If u go by the # of low shots that should cause deductions it's probably about 6, so 6 points deducted, if a competent ref is in there it is probably a disqualification.


but if the ref nipped this in the bud like he should have, very early on, taking a point in the 4th or so, who knows how the fight plays out. One would think Mares would stop throwing low, and that of coarse would be to Agbeko's benefit.

But who the fuck knows? Huge cloud of hypothetical.

And yeah it had the makings of a good fight, but it was ruined, winner or loser is totally irrelevant. Only thing worth discussing is the horrible referring.
