Is this a dumb rule?

2 feet + 1 hand on the ground ='s no knee's to the Head?

Hate that rule myself. Came up again in the Diaz vs Kim fight. Either an elbow, or a knee, maybe even 2 hands, but one hand on the mat does not a down opponent make.

Personally I would like to see the rule abolished. It would definitely give wrestlers something to think about when they shoot.

I dont care for the rule either.

I voted yes because it is a stupid rule. Count on bird to ask the question in a way so fucked up we all answer it wrong....when we are right. lol

Knees to downed opponents = success

I don't think it's a stupid rule to say that a person with 2 feet and 1 hand is down. I just think it's stupid that you can't knee or kick a downed opponent.

soccer kicks and stomps should be illegal to guys on their back or face down, but three and four point attacks should be allowed.

Look I understand why the rule is in place. If their back is against the cage and they are not in a position to take a knee they can stick a hand down to avoid blows. Got it, but it should not apply in the middle of the cage. That is BS.

I remember when Paul Buentello was doing that against Kongo on purpose, and Herb Dean didn't stop the action saying, "you're playing a game." GREAT use of discretion in the cage.
