Lakers and Nuggest start talks for Melo. But Denver is not interested in Artest or Odom. Interesting, I think trading Bynum is a great move for LA just because a Kobe-Pau-Melo combo can be straight deadly for the next 5 or so years.

Reports say Bynum straight up for Melo works finacially. But Denver might be looking to unload more salary and Lakers might be looking to unload Artest, just the early reports.
This trade scares me.

I just got a hard on reading this... Melo and Kobe together would be fucking amazing!!! But I doubt Denver trades melo to someone I'n the west

Yeah I just dont see that happening, but if they could get Bynum and some cap relief they may lol.

At this point Denver is running out of options. If they don't trade him then they get nothing when he leaves in FA. Gotta get something for him.

You know with the lakers past deals I wouldn't be surprised... If they could get Gasol for brown than anything is possible

Well Denver is running out of options. You either get nothing and let him walk away or you take what you can.

I would take nothing before I traded him to the Lakers for Odom or Artest. The Knicks are really trying to put a good package together for him, but they really fucked up by not trading his ass to the Nets when they had the shot.

well maybe flirting with LA will get you more from NY? Nets wouldn't trade for Melo without an extension.

Yeah but nobody is getting an extension from Melo unless u are the Knicks.

I bet he signs an extention with la, Especially if they were to win it all this year

He just might in LA. One of the few spots where he just might. Even though he is from NY area.

Yeah but he probably never thougth LA was a real option. Tough choice. He can go to where he will without a doubt be in the title hunt for years(LA). Or he can try to revive the team he grew up watching and attempt to be a legend in NY.

He will pick the latter because i still dont think the Lakers are a legit destination.

Well I guess it could happen. bynum is better than any1 else that has been offered to denver so maybe it could happen.

No, but do they want him to walk away for nothing in return? If he goes to FA then they get nothing.
