| Lost four in a row, hasn't won a fight since 2006.
The "Dana Is My Hero" T-shirt Tito wore at the weigh-in shows me how worried he is about losing his job. |

Nah both guys shot that idea down at the press conference. The best scenario would be having a Tito vs Couture rematch as a farewell fight for both men. |

| He makes them money so they won't cut him yet. |

" he's lost what four in a row now ? I think we know what happens when you lose four in a row." Sounds like Dana's ready to axe him. |

| Randy is way above Tito on the totem pole though, Randy would fuck him up worse.
I didn't see the presser but a Chuck vs. Tito farewell makes sense too
Me thinks Tito retires, games changes he can't hang.

| Tito also has ring rust right now. He's hardly fought the past 4 years. |

| Cut him and give him a job so you can send him out to handle press crap you don't want to handle. | |

| I remember back when he had a significant size advantage on everyone and was just beating guys down. Now is there even anyone left in the LH division that he can take down? The sport has passed him by. | |

| I think Tito's biggest fight left is against Frank Shamrock in SF. Open weight. | |

| He is kind of a LHW Lesnar.
Anyway, he fought close with Forrest and got dicked out of a win against Rashad. He is still UFC level.

| I agree, but he is a mid to lower UFC level. That's not good for Tito ORtiz has a brand, which is how I come to view him a little more each year. He doesn't warrant a headline on a Fight night card right now, but in SF they could pump up his pseudo relevance a little more. His career in UFC can continue but to what end? He will not crack the UFC top ten again I believe. Who does he fight from here, Vera, Krystov? | |

| He would get killed by 4 or 5 guys in SF. Fejiao, Mousasi, Mo, Hendo all murder him, and Babalu would probably win a close decision. Kyle is pretty explosive too. | |

| THose fights are still better sells than most upper end UFC guys though. The Hendo fight would be one I would want to see too. | |

| Tito is probably more shot than Chuck at this point. He needs to retire. | |

| He'll be cut, Dana's answer and expression on MMA live told you everything you need to know.
So now the question is Tito worth the risk for Strikeforce ? |

| Will he be cut?... God, I hope so. But I doubt it as Dana struggles releasing bundles of cash. | |

| I don't understand why he would be. He's only had 2 fights and one of them was a SD loss to Forrest. Fuck, Gilbert Yvel just got done losing for like the 4th time in a row and that was his first stint in the UFC. I would give Tito another fight against a pretty mediocre opponent rather quickly so he gets right back in the gym and there isn't a huge layoff | |
