I mean there's no news coming from the Katsidis camp. I'm thinking he may still go through it. If he pulls out now, he won't ever get a shot at Marquez again. 2011 Marquez will fight Morales and he may fight Pacquiao If the Flomo fight falls apart again. If Katsidis pulls out, no way is GBP going to let a Top Rank fighter step in. Guerrero maybe the replacement but I'm not so certain because Nacho B turned him down before because he's a southpaw.

Nacho did turn down Guerrero as a possible opponent because he was a southpaw (LA Times). Last year Juares turned down an HBO spot after John pulled out because they were setting him with a southpaw.

Link por favor
Id put that under Nacho knowing a Guerrero fight wasnt worth as much as a Diaz rematch

Im not going to find it but Im not spitting BS (I never do). It was an article from LA times right after his wife was declared cancer free. Im not saying nacho feared Guerrero, but people have problems setting up their fighters with southpaws (especially on short notice). It was Williams excuse for doing like crap vs Martinez, the reason Juarez didnt want to fight Santiago (or Eloy Perez) on that HBO date when Ortiz fought Maidana. No one likes southpaws, its just a known fact. Its too awkward to fight them and fighters struggle (well against good ones at least).

maybe because a Pacquaio fight is worth the reward maybe.... Guerrero doesnt bring anything to the table, Pacquaio is a whole different story.
Shit no one wanted to fight Hagler because he was black, good and a southpaw.

"The southpaw Guerrero unleashed wicked lefts while dropping Arrieta (35-16-4) in the second, third and eighth rounds, and afterward said he wants the winner of the July 31 Juan Manuel Marquez-Juan Diaz fight. Guerrero's manager said Marquez's camp is reluctant to fight a southpaw, but Diaz announced later Friday that he's a willing participant should he avenge his 2009 loss to Marquez"

In a perfect world Brandon Rios or Humberto Soto would replace Katsidis.
