| Big game pitchers means names like Bob Gibson, Christy Matthewson, Jack Morris, John Smoltz, Curt Schliing, Mariano Rivera and Sandy Koufax.
Guys who raised their games at the biggest moments over and over and over again.
Cliff Lee is quickly joining this list. Just extraordinary.

| Lee was great tonight. He is going to be very tough to beat in game 7 cause thats where this series is heading. | |

| I don't know if I'd go that far. Texas has totally dominated them every game and should be up 3-0. If the Yankees actually have to throw Burnett the next game I don't like their chances | |

Making THAT lineup look ordinary is startling. In eight post season starts in both leagues with two different teams and go 7-0 with an ERA under 2? Jeeze oh man.

| Lee is pitching great, you know whats going unnoticed though
C.J. Wilson has pitched an overall better playoffs
goes just as long and lower ERA

| Lee's been dominant
Philadelphia probably wishes they had him instead of Roy H.

| Wilson pitched a better first game than Lee did vs Rays, Lee pitched great game vs Rays after that, then CJ pitched great game 1 vs Yankees and Lee just dominated
they have been pretty even

| The guy is incredible. He puts me in a really bad mood every time we face him. Expressionless, like a an assassin carrying out his work. He's exactly what you want in a starting pitcher in the playoffs: Intensity, durability, stamina and skill. | |
