| Yeah, they been threatening this for a couple of months. A bad idea to drop a sequel on a terrible yet inexplicably popular movie. Maverick is smart in distancing himself from this likely impending disaster... Though Iceman could use some work, and will probably be the new head instructor, right? | |

I assumed Tom would return to play the head instructor, and now would be in the position of trying to tame a young Mavrick like he was. |

| Nah, he's still in the business of taking on big time movies and can probably see stink written all over this... Val on the other hand would be happy with a bit part on a television series about now. He's in for sure and will be the instructor whipping the rebellious son of the now deceased Maverick into shape. Wasn't that the premise of the first? | |

| Yeah that was the exact premise.
Sad to think Val probably would jump at a role like that in this stage of the career, he's come a long way from the days of Jim Morrisson and Bruce Wayne. |
