Tyson Fury is training with Emmanuel Steward

British heavyweight prospect Tyson Fury (12-0, 9KOs) is currently working on some of his flaws with Hall of Fame trainer/manager Emanuel Steward in Detroit, Michigan, according to Scoop Malinowski of Boxing Insider. The 22-year-old Fury wants to polish up his boxing skills. The current training scenario seems to be going forward on a trial basis but a source told Malinowski that a future working relationship between the two of them is not beyond the scope of reality.

Fury is only 22. Do I think he will be Manny's 3rd big HW project (Lewis, Wlad, Fury)? No. But Manny can really help the kid technically.

Well he is tall.. Manny likes that.

I think it will be like JCC with Roach though. Good coach but still.

As long as Manny teaches him not to uppercut himself anymore, Fury wont be an embarrassment anymore.

lmao well one thing i noticed in his last fight is that he seriously lacks a jab. webster steward will def. teach him that and he could be used a sparring partner for wlad which could be good for fury.

Well he did offer to help Andy Lee after seeing him in a amateur tournament.

I just hope they bring Fury along properly.

1-Fury has to improve his conditioning
2-Fury needs to improve the footwork
3-Fury needs to fight off of the jab consistently

If those 3 things are done then Fury is a different fighter (though it remains to be seen if he can be world class; I have my doubts).

Exactly.....Steward saw something in him as an amateur, plus, Lee is not a Moby. Maybe he's only interested because Fury is related to Lee.
