True, there is no way to know (sparring isn't an actual fight).
At the same time, he has seen Margarito spar before alot of fights. Dougie's former partner at Maxboxing, Steve Kim, is in love with Margarito ( I believe Kim even was the first one to call him the Tijuana Tornado). This statement seemed encouraging for the fight: "I made note of Margarito’s ability to take a flush shot because the last time I watched him spar, prior to the Mosley fight, less experienced boxers with far less talent than Williams stopped him in his tracks with every clean punch they landed." Dougie said before the Mosley fight that Margarito was looking like "doggy doo" when he had seen him in camp.
I still have my doubts about Margarito's ability to get to pac, but if he has something left, then there may be some tense moments for pac fans.

Is it wrong that I still kinda like Margarito ?? What Tony tried to do prior to the Mosley fight was debauched but the Cotto fight is what made me a hardcore boxing fan, I replayed the fight for weeks after on my dvr. I want to see El Tijuana Tornado get some sort of redemption come Nov 13th.

ROFL
like i told all of you guys before steve kim and dougie were really close to margarito and his camp back in the days when dougie was at maxboxing.
dougie obviously feels for the guy after everything that margarito has gone through. i remember boxingscene put out a hit piece on dougie because dougie criticized boxing writers for crucifying margarito. dougie claimed boxing writers were just pissed that margarito crashed the cotto train which to a certain degree is true.
lets remember and i really remember how cotto was supposed to be the next de la hoya(yeah hbo had plans for him)and how if cotto beat margarito in which he was heavily favored in, cotto was going to fight de la hoya for de la hoya to probably pass the torch. boxing writers loved cotto and when margarito a supposed bum with no skills beat the shit out of cotto, well they felt stupid.
dougie cut the bullshit you know he going to get that ass whooped

Because I genuinely believe if Margarito even has half of his old self left in the tank Pac will be in for the fight of his life, Tony was a monster prior to the Mosley fight.

Honestly, what's more likely - Margo wasn't the same guy because A) Mosely beat the mean out of him or, B) He no longer had loaded gloves?

You left out what is likely the best answer. That the Cotto fight took a lot out of both men.

I'd literally slap you in the mouth for giving that fucking scumbag your support.
Other than that, you're a fine gentleman that I like quite a bit.. Just joking, man. Although I honestly don't understand why someone could support him after plastergate.

Seems a little hypocritical Ali. You hoped Silva sued Sonnen for allegedly using steroids but you're still rooting for a guy that was going to attempt to punch someone repeatedly in the hand with plasterhands?

I might have agreed with you Ali, that is, before the Mosley fight, and before we found the real reason Margarito was such a "Monster". Not to worry, take away the plaster hand wraps and Margo becomes an ordinary fighter, and the result against Pacquiao will be simular to what it was against Mosley.

Ignore the 100lb pink elephant in the room, take that way and Tony was still a monster.
1) Granite chin 2) relentless pressure 3) unlimited gas tank 4) brutal body shots 5) triple uppercut
