Rich Franklin vs. Forrest Griffin targeted for UFC 127 on Super Bowl weekend

Griffin might be too big for Ace IMO, he should be able to bully him around the cage

Good, winnable fight for both. They couldn't have asked for better. Franklin obviously much better technically but Forrest is a big mf'er at 205. Great fight

I like the notion of making super shows. New years has been a staple but Super Saturday could be the better move to differentiate from the fact New Years used to belong to PRIDE. Super Saturday and like 4th o July or something. UFC 127 as rumored:

Forrest Griffin vs. Rich Franklin

im not complaining, this falls on the weekend of my birthday

Myth - Ace is vastly superior to Forrest in any aspect of this fight.

Reality - Forrest is as good or better a striker than GriffinAce is. He's also bigger with longer reach and a better ground game.
