Fantasy MMA

So since TopGun is ran by a bunch of cunts, should we do a league on here? If we did it like the original leauge on espn I would be willing to run/update it. Kind of up to everybody else tho...Thoughts???

same thing... draft fighters.. get points for wins.. maybe get extra points for KO or SUB .. points for title defense or win the belt .. I dunno, I actually havnt done it yet but I am assuming to that extent.

If you want we can just keep our teams and I'll calculate up the points how we all decide, like 1 point for a win, -1 for a loss, +1 for a ko or sub, pretty easy

As long as we re-do it. Some of us love our original teams so it will depend on what that decision is. Otherwise sure...were you on espn? screen name?

I can add a poll to your comment.. plus you can edit your original post and add on a poll... but do you really want to do it here? If the vote is on either keeping the teams or scraping the teams .. the only people voting on the poll should be the ones in the league. I am not in the league anyway.. I am just saying.

Good point...maybe I'll post it in the MMA section to see what response I get. I was just so jacked about that league and liked my team all 3 times I drafted and then topgun completely ass fucked us

Yeah top gun sucks. I'm cool with doing it either way. I semi liked my teams in the top gun leagues but not that attached to either really.

Here's the thing with all this, if we do decide to drop the league, wouldn't the people already in the leagues get first dibs, and they're 20 teams deep, but everyone will want in, and you can't really do more than say 25 teams, some people in the league that never post much shouldn't really be in over someone like Golbez though. I like my teams though, think I'm 3rd in my league and 3rd in Ninja's and they made some mistakes, and I'm killin in Z, mine, Sooners and Beast's salary league.

Ok here's what I say we do...

-Start a new league and drop topgun altogether

-Open it up just to people on this board

-We can have as many as we want in it really as long as it's not ridiculous, we just cut down on fighters per team if we have to

-I'll create a scoring system that we can all live with and we'll just track it on here

Golbez, once it's set up do u wanna track it since you're the mod here or do you want me to? I'd be glad to but you'll nee to do some of the stuff to help since I can't mod it.

I don't neccessarily want to drop the leagues, I'm doing well and I like my teams, and with only 5 fighters per team, they'll be way less fights to go around, a guy might fight once in a year. Point system is simple +1 for a win, - 1 for a loss, 0 draw, + 1 for a finish, + 1 for a Title fight optional
